The Head teacher and staff at St Wilfrid’s would like to welcome our children and parents back to school for the beginning of a new and exciting academic school year. We look forward once again to celebrating the considerable success our pupils enjoy. Thank you for ensuring that your children attend school every day, are punctual and wearing school uniform.
As part of our new developments in ICT our new school web site is being developed. This will grow over time, and we hope that it will give us another valuable way to share information and school developments / celebrations with our pupils and parents. Parents and teachers at St Wilfrid’s work closely together to ensure that our children are happy and learn lots of new skills. We believe that these two things can best be achieved in an environment where children and adults respect each other, regardless of race, age, gender, ability or position. We want children to be careful and considerate, friendly and polite, helpful, sensible and honest, hard working and respectful of other people’s opinions, beliefs and property. We want the children to enjoy their learning and have a pride in their school and its achievements.

Children at St Wilfrid's are being given an excellent start in their education and this latest OFSTED report should re-assure parents in the area that this is a school that their children should be enrolled at, if they are not already planning to do so." |
