Year 3

Class 3

In Year 3 the children enter Key stage 2 at St Wilfrid’s and are taught by Mrs Dunn, Mr Coats, Miss Parr and the Teaching Assistant is Mrs Bullwich.

Key stage 2 is led and managed by Mrs Dunn, one of our Deputy Head teachers.

Within Year 3 the children continue to work within a challenging and creative curriculum. Every class within the school benefits from having an interactive whiteboard. This enables the teachers to fully access all current teaching materials from the internet, to enhance their lessons.

Within Year three the children begin with a topic on Ancient Egypt. Within this topic the children develop their own mini artefacts museum, and they create short films within ICT about characters and events they might have encountered in Ancient Egypt.
