Deconstructed Shepherds Pie

Lesson: Design and technology

Class: Year 5 Year: 2023 - 2024

Last Friday Mrs Robinson introduced year 5 to cooking! The childen learnt all about food hygiene and kitchen safety and how important it is when preparing meals. Then they used this knowledge to peel, cut and chop various vegetables as part of the ingredients to a shepherds pie. The children thoroughly enjoyed taking part and from the clean bowls at the end, they thoroughly enjoyed eating all of their hard work! Here are some photos of the finished product.
