Lunches

During lunchtime, the school’s teaching assistants are on hand throughout the lunch hour to encourage good relationships between children and promote positive social interactions. They are also first aid trained and deal with any incidents that may arise.

We provide our own school catering service and are always reviewing menus and catering arrangements to cater for the likes of our children whilst ensuring a healthy, balanced meal. We have been awarded a 5* rating from the Food Standards Agency (February 2025). All our meals served follow the nutritional criteria of the Government Buying Standards for Food and Catering Services. To view our current menu please see the link below. Allergen Information Rules (EU FIC)

The Foods Standards Agency now ask us to keep you informed if there are any changes to the food that we supply for our school meals. St Wilfrid’s can confirm that all our ingredients are checked daily, and if any products are changed, the allergen information is also altered.
