Manchester Week

Class: Year 5 Year: 2021 - 2022

As part of our skills showcase, our topic was Manchester week.  During this week, year 5 went on a trip to Manchester Art Gallery, we had a look around parts of the art gallery, particularly the section on L S Lowry.  We then split into two groups, one group completed art tasks to help create an art installation for the gallery and the other group had a construction task where they costed and built a 3D structure which would form part of a display at the gallery and would symbolise the recent construction work they have had done.

Working together as one; with God, all things are possible.
